Six is a British musical written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. The musical is a modern retelling of the six wives of Henry VIII. It is presented as a pop concert, with each wife taking turns singing and telling their story to see who suffered the most due to Henry. They compete to become the group's lead singer.

Plot[]

The show opens with the six queens performing an opening musical number ("Ex-Wives"). They are a six-member pop girl group comprising of Henry VIII's ex-wives: Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr. They each introduce themselves one-by-one and welcome the audience to their performance. They address the audience and announce a competition.
